Athena Accelerator: Learning Support & Cost Efficiency
This release introduces learn mode resources support, curriculum alignment improvements, and significant cost optimizations. Students now have direct access to video learning resources when they need additional concept reinforcement before practicing.
- Video Learning Support – Learn mode now offers direct access to curated active videos, helping students who need additional concept clarity or terminology reinforcement before beginning practice.
- Curriculum Data Sync – Implemented a synchronization mechanism to keep substandards aligned with the curriculum data model. Hundreds of substandards across grades have been updated or added. Grade 7 and 8 updates are pending curriculum team finalization.
- Answer Validation Improvements – Compound answers and similar fill-in-the-blank variations are now properly detected and rejected during quality checks. Legacy questions in the bank may occasionally still exhibit this issue.
- 5x Cost Reduction – Question supplementary data generation cost reduced from $2.00 to $0.40 per question through skill-level generation optimization and prompt batching. Further cost reduction work is ongoing.
